Fraisière Duquette Strawberries
We will be open tomorrow, Wednesday July 11 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This will be our last day open for strawberry (fraises) picking for 2018. As you know, at this time, picking is now difficult and the berries are small. When you come tomorrow, don’t forget to check inside the plants and under the leaves. Most people, except for the experienced pickers, miss the many big berries hidden there. And, watch for the over-ripe berries that you don’t put them in your baskets.
We will not open our raspberry field this year as the berries are not to Jacques’ satisfaction. Our 2016 honey crop is almost sold out. So, remember to pick up your jar when you come out tomorrow. We will be harvesting honey in September and I will post when the crop is ready for sale.
We have also pumpkin and squash planted for the fall and I will post when they are ready.
